Currently, melaniejane has 2 solo recordings - Flower. and Billets Doux - which showcase her talents as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and arranger. As a session cellist, mj appears on dozens of recordings with many notable artists such as: Victor DeLorenzo (of the Violent Femmes - international release on ALMO Sounds), Michelle Anthony (Barry Goldberg, Producer--Smasing Pumpkins and Fleetwood Mac), Sigmund Snopek III, Heidi Spencer, Mike Fredrickson, Todd Bowie, Wooldridge Brothers (Walter Salas-Humara, Producer), The Carolinas, Dave Maxon, Jill Kossoris (Nashville songwriter), Martin Jack Rosenblum (aka, The Holy Ranger), Mike Magestro's "Only You Can Find Me" featuring Goran (of Atlantic Records, The Gufs)... amongst many many others.

AIRPLAY

melaniejane's music has been featured on National Public Radio's 'Car Talk' as well as college radio stations both in the US and in Europe. She has also been a featured guest on Wisconsin Public Radio's "Higher Ground" and the popular syndicated radio show "Hotel Milwaukee" as well as a frequent, live on-air guest in the WMSE studios.

AS OF NOW...

Currently melaniejane performs with the Racine Symphony Orchestra as well as several other chamber ensembles in the Milwaukee area. She also continues to perform in her singer-songwriter medium throughout the midwest and lends a hand in a variety of studio recording sessions. In addition, she is working on a Masters Degree in Cello Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee under the direction of Prof. Stefan Kartman. melaniejane also continues to teach cello privately in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Then, if the fates align this year, she will make her way to Nashville to perform her critically acclaimed cello/vocal renditions of John Lennon covers (Mother, Come Together) for the Imagine No Handguns benefit.......................
