The Wild Rice Concert series will be hosting Kelly McGuire and Friends THIS Sunday, November 9th at 6PM at Menominee's brand new restaurant - Murray's Irish Pub - having just opened this spring. If you're hungry for a good meal either in the Bar or Dining room we recommend you get there an hour before the 6pm concert. If you're hungry for some good music, come feast with us!

You know Kelly McGuire. You know he has friends. You may be one of them. You've witnessed them playing together in a variety of configurations. You've even applauded such performances. You may even own the CD, "Kelly McGuire/Laura Blye: Face to Face". Excellent!

But change is in the air and all that familiarity is about to be challenged as Kelly McGuire & Friends present a new show for your listening pleasure! Instrumentals, standards, show tunes, maybe even a little gospel - all lovingly and uniquely arranged to delight and intrigue the faithful Wild Rice concert goers.

Joining Maestro McGuire will be the always astounding saxophonist Mike Prusinsky of Crivitz, witty and eccentric bassist Benji Conklin from Minneapolis, the cool hand of Luke Heckel from Green Bay on percussion, and stylistic singer Laura Blye of Chicago. You can expect John Wills and Roman Davis to add their horns to the mix as well. Who knows what other surprises the night may hold? One thing is for sure, this band is ready to offer you a musical buffet!

Be prepared for an awesome musical journey, Kelly and the rest will present intricate melodies and arrangements, great vocals and occaionaly they will rock the house.
